Massage Prices in Khon Kaen: What Everything Costs
A typical massage shop in Khon Kaen charges around 250-400 THB an hour. This page has our full menu with real prices. There is no service charge and nothing gets added at the till.
Khon Kaen is one of the better-value cities in Thailand for massage. A typical Thai massage shop in town charges 250-400 THB an hour, while hotel spas run 800-1,500 THB for a comparable treatment. Most of that difference is the setting and the brand, not necessarily the skill of the hands you get.
The prices below are our actual shop prices, the same ones on the board in the shop and in the online booking system. Walk-in or booked ahead, the price is the same.

Why some massages cost more than others
Thai and foot massage are the entry prices because they need little beyond a good pair of hands. Oil massage adds the cost of massage oil; aromatherapy and coconut oil use better-grade oils and a private room geared for relaxation. The herbal compress is the most expensive because the herb bundles are freshly prepared and steamed hot for every session.
Two-hour sessions work out cheaper per hour on almost every service, and they suit a day when you actually have time to let go properly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a 300 THB massage too cheap to be good?
No. In Khon Kaen, 300 THB an hour is the normal price for a massage shop. Places charging several times more are mostly charging for a hotel-spa setting, not better hands. All our therapists are experienced and trained in traditional Thai massage.
Do I need to tip?
Tipping is completely optional; the price you pay is the full price. If you were happy and want to thank your therapist, most people give 50-100 THB, and it goes to the therapist in full.
How can I pay?
Cash, bank transfer, or PromptPay QR at the shop.
Is booking online cheaper than walking in?
Same price either way. Booking online via Fresha just guarantees your time slot; walk-ins are welcome any day 10:00-21:00.
