A herbal compress is a cloth bundle packed tight with Thai herbs, steamed until hot and pressed onto the body between rounds of massage. The heat lets clenched muscles finally give, and the herbal steam that comes off the bundle does half the relaxing on its own.
This is the premium treatment on our menu, and the one we point people to when the aches are chronic and a regular massage has not shifted them. Heat reaches layers of muscle that hands alone cannot.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Thai herbal compress?
A cloth bundle filled with a mix of Thai herbs, steamed hot and pressed onto the body. The heat and the herbs loosen the muscles together. Thais have used it for generations.
How hot is the compress? Is it safe?
Your therapist tests the temperature every time and starts with light touches. Say so the moment it feels too hot. It is safe for normal skin; mention it beforehand if yours is sensitive.
Who benefits most from herbal compress massage?
People with chronic aches or deep tension that regular massage has not fully released. The heat gets the muscles to let go at a deeper level.
How is herbal compress different from balm oil massage?
They warm you differently. The compress delivers heat from outside through a hot herb bundle; balm oil warms through the skin as it is worked in. For deep, chronic tightness, the compress heat usually reaches further.
How should I look after myself after a herbal compress session?
Drink extra water, rest a moment before heading out, and skip the cold shower right after the session so your body cools down gradually.
